Growth agents

Growth agents work beyond your social feeds: on search, AI answers, articles, communities such as Hacker News and Reddit, listening for leads and mentions, creator outreach, short video clips, ads and your competitors. Each one runs on its own schedule and leaves its work in Today as cards for you to act on. This page explains each agent in a few lines: what it does, what it works best with, and what lands in Today.

Turning them on

Open Brand › Agents and scroll to Grow beyond your feeds. Each agent has a switch, Settings and Run now. Daily agents run every morning once they are on; weekly agents run on Monday mornings. Growth agents come with a plan or the trial.

Some agents show Works best with … connected under Integrations. That is a hint, not a requirement: connect the service under Brand › Integrations and the agent can do more, such as publishing for you.

Their cards appear in Today under Needs you › Growth ideas. Every card has Done and Not now, plus buttons of its own. Each run uses credits; Settings › Credits shows what each agent uses in a month at its settings.

SEO

Audits your site every morning, measures its speed and rankings, and hands you the fixes that matter most, ready to apply. Works best with Google Search Console; with your website connected (WordPress, Webflow, GitHub and others), Apply makes the fix for you. Cards: site fixes, and keyword opportunities with Write an article about it. The SEO and AI answers agents share one Market setting per brand: the country (or city) and language their data is for.

AI answers

Asks AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Gemini the questions your buyers ask, sees who they recommend, and hands you fixes to get your brand named. You choose which assistants it checks in its settings. Cards: fixes for your site, and opportunities with Write an article. Its findings also show in Analytics, under the website's AI answers.

Articles

Writes blog articles in your voice on the topics your buyers search for. Connect your website (WordPress, WordPress.com, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity or HubSpot) to publish from Odeist AI, or download each article as Markdown. Each article waits in Today until you publish it, unless you turn on publishing automatically. You choose how many articles a week.

Hacker News

Drafts comments for Hacker News stories in your space, and Show HN posts when you launch. You post them yourself from your own Hacker News account; Odeist AI never posts there for you. Cards: a comment with Open on HN, or Show HN drafts to choose from.

Reddit

Finds Reddit threads where you can help, checks each subreddit's rules and drafts a reply that you post yourself. Odeist AI never posts on Reddit for you. If the agent shows Coming soon, it isn't available yet and can't be turned on.

Creator outreach

Every Monday, finds creators whose audience fits yours and drafts a first message. Send it yourself, or connect Gmail or Outlook to send it as an email sequence from your own mailbox once you approve it. Odeist AI can send from the mailbox but can't read your mail. Cards let you record what happened: I sent it, They replied, Not interested or It bounced.

For an influencer campaign, open its Settings and fill in Plan an influencer campaign: the key message, the platforms (TikTok included), the budget and how to split it, the deliverables, the dates and the audience. You get a creator brief in Today (objective, talking points, deliverables per platform, timeline, dos and don'ts, how to disclose the partnership, what to measure) with the budget per platform worked out for you, and a shortlist of creators who fit, each with a pitch that says it's a paid collaboration and asks their rate. The brief you send creators leaves the budget out. You agree terms and pay creators yourself; no money moves through Odeist AI. The brief uses 20 credits and each pitch 6.

UGC clips

Writes short creator-style clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts from your brand and your brief, and makes them with sound. Each script is a storyboard: a scene, then each part's spoken line and what's on screen. Edit script changes any of it for free, along with the length (6 to 15 seconds), the video model (Quick or Standard), the shape and the images in the clip; the clip then says and shows what you wrote. Clips are priced by the second on their model; a 6-second quick clip uses 60 credits. Cards: a script with Make the clip, or a finished clip with New version, and Make it again after an edit.

Ads

Drafts ad campaigns from what already works for you, launches them in your own ad accounts when you approve, and pauses them at your limits. Connect Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads or TikTok Ads. Nothing goes live until you launch it.

Competitors

Reads your competitors' sites and news every Monday, tells you what changed, and brings the changes worth answering to Today. It reads the competitors in your brand profile. Cards can be handed to the Articles agent with Hand to Articles, or to Ask Odeist to draft a post.

Launch kit

For a launch: a product, a feature, a new price. In Brand › Agents, Plan a launch asks what you're launching, the link and the day, then writes the whole kit in your brand's voice: an X thread, a LinkedIn post, a launch email, a press release, three taglines and a plan from a week before to a week after. It comes to Today as one card. Send to X approvals and Send to LinkedIn approvals put the thread and the post in your posting agents' approvals, so nothing goes out until you approve it (approvals need to be on; if the brand has more than one posting agent there, you pick which one). With a launch day set, an approved post waits for 9:00 that morning. Copy the email and the press release, and fill in the parts in [square brackets]. It has no schedule: it writes only when you ask. A kit uses 105 credits, and so does each rewrite.

Your AI tools

If you connect your own AI tools to Odeist AI (see Ask Odeist), the drafts and ideas they leave appear as cards here too.
